Cool and simple...Get ready for the Hot Summer Season Parties with this amazing low carb dessert. Its so fast and unbelievably easy to spoon up the "Red, White & Blue" with Spoonful™! Take them to the BBQ, you'll rock 'em with your brilliance. All you need is a quart of ripe strawberries, Sugar Not™ Spoonful™ and a Country Kitchen Powder food color (Sky Blue 40-5105) available here. Not just for this recipe, you'll reach for these powder colorings for lots of low carb "fun" desserts and low carb special occasion cakes, too. Get a complete kit with all the colors if you want. Makes a low carb dessert wizard out of you. Perfect for low carb versions because the dry color powders allow you to make Sugar Not™ "sprinkle" versions of high sugar desserts.

Ingredients:

1 quart ripe strawberries
1 cup Sugar Not™Spoonful™Natural Sugar Replacement with Fiber
1/8 teaspoon CK Royal Blue powdered food coloring

Instructions:

Rinse and pat dry the strawberries and wrap them in paper towels to remove excess moisture.

In one small bowl, place the food coloring and 1/4 cup of Spoonful™. Stir with spoon to evenly blend in the color. Place 3/4 cup Spoonful™ in a medium size bowl. If preparing to use later, or to take to a get together, have a larger storage container with lid handy. Holding a berry by the top, with spoon coat the berry up to 3/4 of the top with the spoonful, twisting to coat all sides. Dip the berry tip into the blue colored Spoonful™to coat as pictured and carefully set onto a plate or the storage container. Repeat with each berry and chill until ready to serve. Enjoy!
