Mix it up for dessert with our dairy-free chocolate mousse. It's smooth, rich texture can go in a single-serving bowl or on top of a cake or pie.
1 packet Mousse Mix-Chocolate Single Pack Low Carb
3 tablespoons Dry pasteurized egg whites
1/2 cup Cold water
In a medium bowl, add the dry egg white powder. With an electric mixer on low, gradually add the water in and turn mixer to high. Beat for 2 or 3 minutes, until egg whites are tripled in volume but not until stiff peaks form.
Turn mixer speed down to low and sprinkle in the mousse mix. Beat for 30 seconds more or until well blended.
Divide into dessert ramekins or individual pudding bowls or cups and chill for at least 30 minutes. Enjoy!
Variations:This great recipe can double as a fat free whipped topping over your favorite cakes or pies. Try the Vanilla Mousse Vanilla and Raspberry Mousse flavors too. For a parfait, use the Vanilla or Raspberry flavors and add berries after preparing. Chill in parfait cups and serve.
