Place 5 of the balls together to make a “donut” and press them firmly together.

Makes 7 donuts

Bake for 8 - 10minutes, or until donuts are raised and firm to the touch.
Cool for 15 minutes. Frost cooled donut holes with either glaze (see recipe below) or sprinkle with Bag #2 mix of dry powdered sweet topping.

For Optional Glaze Topping:

Add 2 or 3 additional tablespoons of softened butter (or water) to the glaze mix. Stir with spoon, and spread on donuts thinly with a spoon or knife.

Store donuts in fridge for 4 days. Freeze for up to 2 months.
Cook’s Tip: To freeze glazed donuts without having the icing stick to the plastic wrap, pre-freeze donuts for 30 minutes or until glaze sets up. Wrap in plastic wrap and then freeze in zip lock freezer bags.

Makes 7 donuts, less than 2 net carbs per donut.
Using a donut pan? Simply place formed donut hole balls in donut pan and press together slightly. Bake, invert and reuse pan if necessary. Note: donut pans differ in sizes. You may need to form smaller donut hole balls or add one more ball for some pans. Just test by forming the balls for the first donut and adjust sizes/quantity accordingly.

For reduced fat donuts:

Use fat free sour cream in place of butter and regular sour cream. Top with powered sweet topping. If a glazed topping is preferred, use 2 tablespoons water in place of butter and drizzle glaze on donuts. Store chilled.
