Easy 10 Minute Low Carb Thin Crust Pizza

The perfect low calorie, low carb “so good” pizza… great for appetizers, lunches or a quick dinner when you want to really indulge while still saving calories and carbs. No skimping with these hearty pizza serving sizes, either!

The easy low carb pizza recipe here is for a basic “cheese, sauce & pepperoni” pie, but it can be customized to fit all pizza lover taste buds.

The low carb sauce adds that needed extra zest without fussing. Check out the variations… This can be your “go to” pizza for easy work lunches, etc. Sometimes a simple recipe like this becomes a needed mainstay in your house. It's so easy, so enjoy!

Preheat oven to 425°

Place 1 cup of warm water in small bowl and add 1 inner packet of pasta sauce. Stir well to blend. Sauce will be thick.

In medium sized bowl, place flour, oil and ¼ cup warm water. Stir with spoon to mix and knead dough a couple of times, just to make it smooth. Form a dough ball and place in center of pizza pan or cookie sheet. Press dough ball out to about 11” round. Dough will be very thin and just cover the surface of the pan or cookie sheet. Form a slight edge around dough, if desired.
Spoon desired amount of sauce evenly over dough. Note: if you like less sauce on your pizza you may not want to use it all.

Sprinkle cheese over sauce and top with pepperoni.

Bake for 7-8 minutes. Cool slightly and cut into 4 large size pieces, or 6 appetizer size ones. Each large size piece has just 4 net carbs and less than 150 calories. Pizza keeps well in fridge for reheating in 2 days, or freeze in zip lock freezer bag for up to two months.
Variations:

*Add 2 cups chopped fresh spinach over top of sauce, cover with cheese.
*Use crumbled goat cheese and chopped ham in place of shredded cheese and pepperoni.
*Try crumbled bacon and scrambled eggs in place of pepperoni. Great for a breakfast pizza!
*Top with chopped bell peppers and onion. Omit pepperoni.
*Top with sliced mushrooms and black olives. Omit Pepperoni.
*Sprinkle fresh chopped herbs on top of cheese, like basil, oregano, garlic and/or rosemary.
